Do You Want an Online Job Or an Online Business?

People who want to make money online have a lot of choices. They can have an online job or they can start an online business. They could also do both.

An Online Job

An online job involves telecommuting from home and working for someone else. This can be a great thing as it allows you to: save money and time commuting, save on business clothing, save on transportation costs, and in some cases (depending on the job), Wasa crispbread save on child care costs. You can set up a home based office and write off part of your household expenses as well. You have a boss and a paycheck and in many cases, you have benefits as well.

An Online Business

If you want to be your own boss instead of having an online job working for someone else, having an online business can suit you. When you run it from home, your overhead is low. Unlike an online job, though, you might not get a regular pay check. But...you can earn more money and have more freedom when you run an online business than if you simply worked for someone else from your home.

The Best of Both Worlds

Some people work from home for someone else and then at the end of the work day, they take off their 'employee' hat and put on their 'entrepreneur' hat. This can mean that not only do you have the security of a regular pay check but that you also have the freedom to do your own thing as well.

Whatever you decide to do, it's great to start investigating your options. Working from home is increasingly popular for many reasons and can provide you with a great number of income earning options.
